Sophia von X  by  Victoria Ray As always, there is an immense pleasure to read Victoria Ray’s books, no matter the genre nor the subject. This time, she surprises us with an intriguing thriller that not only reveals a new side of the author’s writing skills, but also preserves the elements of the absurd – specific to her style – even though in a more subdued form. Sophia von X is a light and relaxing thriller strewn with original characters, irony, a lot of action and spirituality. There are also some institutions and real life situations that cannot escape the author’s sarcasm, as well as some social categories that are wittily portrayed in the book.
